\tToday at the beginning of international action days a short picket in solidarity with prisoners in Minsk took place in front of the belarussian embassy in Vienna. The banner says: “stop state-violence \/ authority”.

\n\tThe action against state-violence in Belarus took place in the context of the repression that started in the beginning of September against anarchists and social activists in Belarus. The two imprisoned people in Minsk were arrested together with some other people without naming a reason. Now, after several weeks, they are accused for actions that were changed from day to day: First they were blamed for an attack on russian embassy in solidarity with the Khimki hostages (see: www.khimkibattle.org), later it was about some attack of a police station and now it is about some antimilitaristic thing. So it seems the political idea behind the repression is just to find any reason to keep these people in prison. The context of massive interrogations and intimidations of active people from ecological, social and anarchist background in belarus in pre-election time is making the attack on non-parliarmentarian structures by the state-violence obviouse. Taking advantage of the possibility to arrest for three days without filling accusation, the authorities re-arrest activists every three days as suspects on other cases. All together 13 people have spent already 153 days under unlawful arrest. During the interrogations the activists are beaten, threatened to be expeled from the places of study, being subjected to psychological pressure and are not allowed meeting with relatives. Some of the people harrassed were also part of the social and climate justice caravan last year and movements from different parts of the world signed an open letter against the repression.<\/p>\n

\tDie Aktion gegen die Staatsgewalt in Belarus fand im Zusammenhang mit der Anfang September begonnenen Repressionswelle gegen Anarchist*innen und soziale Aktivist*innen in Belarus statt. Die beiden Inhaftierten wurden mit meheren anderen Leuten zusammen verschleppt, ohne Angabe der Gründe. Nun, nach mehreren Wochen werden sie mit Beschuldigungen konfrontiert, die von Tag zu Tag wechseln: Erst wurden sie für einen Angriff auf die russische Botschaft in Solidarität mit den Geiseln von Chimki verantwortlich gemacht (siehe: www.khimkibattle.org), später war es dann ein Angriff gegen eine Polizeistation und nun geht es um eine antimilitaristische Aktion. Somit scheint die politische Motivation hinter der Repression offensichtlich. Es geht nur darum, irgend einen Grund herbeizureden, um die Leute im Knast festzuhalten. In diesem Zusammenhang wurden massiv Verhöre und Einschüchterungsversuche gegen Aktivist@s durchgeführt. Diese kommen aus ökologischen, sozialen und anarchistischen Zusammenhängen. Die kommende Wahl in Belarus und diese Angriffe gegen nicht-staatliche Strukturen machen das Interesse der Staatsegewalt offensichtlich. Die Möglichkeit, Menschen ohne Angabe von Gründen für drei Tage festzuhalten, wurde derart ausgenutzt, dass Aktivist*innen nach drei Tagen immer wieder erneut festgenommen wurden unter Angabe verschiedener andere Gründe. Insgesamt verbrachten 13 Leute 153 Tage in nicht-gesetzlicher Haft. Bei den Verhören wurden die Aktivist*innen geschlagen, mit dem Rausschmiss aus der Uni bedroht, psychischem Druck ausgesetzt und durften ihre Verwandten nicht sehen. Einige der Betroffenen waren auch bei der Karawane für Soziale- und Klimagerechtigkeit dabei und Bewegungen aus aller Welt unterschrieben einen offenen Brief gegen die Repression.<\/p>\n
\tEs gab einen Aufruf sich zu solidarisieren: “Wir rufen all die Menschen auf, die sich um das Schicksal der verhafteten Anarchist*innen, anti-Autoritären und sozialen Aktivist*innen kümmern, in der Zeit vom 14. bis 20.Oktober Soli-Aktionenrund um die Welt an Botschaften der Republik Belarus durchzuführen und bei repräsentativen Gebäuden.
